Students get connected on Facebook

Great news - there's a chance for our students to use their language skills in real communication setting. Facebook group Students Connected is designed to become a perfect online meeting place for university students 17+ from all over the globe. There are no marks, no assessment, no corrections. It's a place to chat, share, learn more about different cultures, and at the same time improve English. Students are welcome to join, as well as their teachers! Send me a message if you're interested and I"ll give you the link.

Ever thought you could pass a Harvard entrance exam? Well, in 1869 - you probably could! New York Times shared some copies of Harvard entrance exam papers in Latin, Greek, History and Geography, Arithmetic, Algebra and Plane Geometry. These are now available for public download here.

To start off - here you will find a nice short video from BBC Learning English section featuring the Olympic champion Usain Bolt. It's a good way to get started on the Sports topic this term. Devote your lesson time to London Olympics 2012!
